I’m Now A “Tita”!

I am just SO happy to tell you the news that I’m now a TITA! It’s the Tagalog term of “aunt”. Yes, my brother’s girlfriend just gave birth to my first ever nephew yesterday! I am really excited to see the baby, but they are currently in Isabela (the province where my brother’s girlfriend stays) and it’s like 10-hours away from the city. :|

By the way, the baby’s name is Justin Nathan! I really don’t know how they came up with his name, but I think it’s a good name! I researched about it and found a website that generates baby name meanings (click the link). Justin means just, fair, lawful. Nathan means gift from God! See? It’s a really nice name. And since I saw that site, I already browsed through it and found out that my name (Janica) is a Polish variant of “Jane” which means “God is gracious”. ^_^ I love my name!

It made me think what I will name my child (someday). I want it to be like mine, with a wonderful meaning. Actually, Niko and I would joke around and think of what we will name our future baby. Haha! ^_^ I’m thinking about “Alexandra” which means “defender of mankind” (reference: same website as above), but I’m afraid she will grow up to be a bossy person. HAHA.

Jeez, just thinking about baby names is fun! :D

    I love the name Nathan as well, my best friend’s husband has that name and he sure is God’s gift to her. Well, Jane is definitely a great name. I’m planning to name my future daughter Irene Jane Cassandra, my Mom’s name is Jane (*wink). Congratulations on your first ever nephew! It’s great to be a Tita, (especially if you don’t have a child of your own) trust me, I have 3 nieces and a nephew.

    I want my future daughters to be named “Belle Ambrosia” (Belle - Beautiful, Ambrosia - immortal) and “Alayna Estelle” which means “Rock Star” Oh diba? :D
    … But then I think about labor and all those stuff about giving birth, then suddenly, I don’t want children anymore. xD

    I know right? :) There was a time na EVERYDAY, naghahanap ako ng baby names… Of course, I was thinking that I would have a stable relationship with Clark and we planned everything na, down to the colours of the gowns of my bridesmaids… Pero di nangyari. Pero the point is, I still get addicted to searching for baby names. Kahit mag-adopt nalang siguro ako. xD

    natawa naman ako dun, defender of mankind, haha. :) Me and my bf have baby names na, hehe. Grabe eh noh? pero ang sarap pagusapan kasi. Since parehong napaka unique ng name namin, pinagsama namin kaya unique din name ng future baby namin., hehe. Malas lang, kapag puro lalaki. puro name ng babae kasi ginawa namin, hahaha. :D

    i love babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 syet! i am so happy for you. meron akong mga pamangkin but sa mga cousins ko yun so di ko rin madalas makita. ang kyut ng mga babies esp. mga baby boys hehe. ako naman ang gusto kong ipangalan sa mga future babies ko ay mga colors like kunyari “kahel” haha mga ganun. para silang rainbow mga colors hehehe
